Getaway Artist Fellowship

At the end of 2018, KUZU was offered an artist fellowship by GetAway. During our fellowship, we made light interventions to activate the beautifully designed tiny cabins and the surrounding nature.

Inspired by the concept of an ancient civilization that elevated to the digital age prior to now and fell, without leaving any trace behind; we collected assets from abstracted micro-chip imagery, stock images of artifacts and combined these with block colors to create ephemeral, sublime experiences in Stanardsville, VA.
